...until we move. :) Just thought I'd throw that little morsel out there for you to chew on.
Again, sorry I've been MIA for the last few days. Let me give you a run down of what we've been up to.
Thursday: We found evidence of a small (very unwelcome) visitor in our Little House on the Airport. Josh did the husband thing and set traps. I did the wife thing and kept my toes off the floor. We haven't caught anything yet, but I'll let you know.
Friday: We went to see the last Harry Potter movie. It was gripping, thrilling, and kept you on the edge of your seat. Even if you have read all of the books. At least 4 times. Okay... 5. Or more. Each. Anyways, I thought they did a good job with it; but I am sad to see the series end.
For the Potter skeptics, please read this article.
Saturday: We visited some friends, who are basically grandparents to Josh. They took us to a town that is entirely German and entirely tourist. It was precious and we had a lovely time. :)
Other mention-worthy moments:
Josh has been called to appear in court to be fingerprinted for immigration. On August 15th. The day we planned to move out. We're still going to leave then; it's not the early start we wanted to get, but what can you do? At least we're making progress with immigration stuff.
My brother passed MEPS, and is officially going to be a Marine! I can't even tell you how proud I am of him (and also how scared for him). My brother and I don't always get along, but we are always there for each other when it counts.
I made the most amazing Sugar Cookies ever. Leave a comment if you'd like me to share the recipe!
I also made the best (and easiest) Iced Coffee ever. Amazing.
Our freezer didn't close properly last night. So I woke up to a puddle in the freezer several wet ice trays, and melted ice cream. At least we didn't have much in there to spoil.
What did you do this weekend?
