A Pretty Good Week

This has been another crazy (but awesome!) week for us! It went something like this:

We had Youth Sunday. That means that the youth takes the role of worship leaders, praise team, speakers, readers, and musicians. The only thing that they didn't do was preach (way to go, Chrishon!) or serve communion. We even got to introduce a brand new djembe that Josh now plays during worship. It was great!

We went to the church picnic. Yep, we have the best location possible for a church picnic. This is one of the highlights of the day, a giant waterslide leading into the pool. This keeps kids of all ages busy for hours.

I got to play lifeguard and time-keeper. The boys raced for the fastest time down the slide. I think it was a three-way tie at 13.0 seconds.

We witnessed a baptism at the church picnic. Welcome to the family, Morgan!

Oh, and best of all! Josh got approved for his work permit! This means he can start working as soon as it arrives in the mail. He's finishing up his exams (oral and practical) for his CFI and then off we go! Praise the Lord!

Overall, it's been a good week, even though I was sick for most of it... :)

How was your week?
